Always consistent with great home cooked food and good service but now that it’s cold weather and the doors are closed it was quite uncomfortable sitting in a humid room amongst strong cooking smells Please open some windows or sort extracting the cooking smells as our clothes really smelt and we had to go home and change . It’s such a shame as it’s a lovely place to meet and eat .
The food here is amazing, great value for money & with stunning views across the cricket green in a picturesque village. Lovely family friendly atmosphere & dogs welcome. Pop up nights recently including pizza, Mexican night & Indian street food were fantastic- would highly recommend a visit ?

Always great, fresh home cooked food here. A good menu selection of breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, burgers and a specials menu. Nice coffee too and service always friendly. Lovely to sit outside on a sunny day and look out over the cricket pitch. A lovely community cafe spot!
