Went as group of 18 and preordered for Sunday lunch.Waited ages for the few starters and eventually mains.Mains came out,Waited for veg in side dishes plus gray plus no apple sauce/ horseradish had to keep asking? Not impressed , appreciate difficulty of large group booking but don’t accept if you can’t cope!!Most of us would not return on that experience!Food barely warm when all dishes materialised.3 staff not sufficient at busy times.Lovely village pub I’ve known for years with lots of ups and downs and I feel not showing it’s best currently.

Sunday lunch with a large group of people brought about mixed reviews. However, I had the roast beef Sunday lunch and it was one of the very best I've had in many pubs before. The food was first rate and cooked just as I like it (of course this is personal preference)....excellent quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. The pub itself is a beautiful old English pub with a lovely and friendly atmosphere. The staff were excellent, polite, charming and and engaging.I'd highly recommend the Queens Arms in Bleadon and can't wait to return.

The waitress called India was very attentive and welcoming. The food and atmosphere was great! Definitely recommend.

We were visiting family who live in the village. We normally go to the Queens for a meal. The last time was maybe 2 years ago, and the place was empty, with no atmosphere, and the food menu was less than inspiring. Fast forward to last night. The place was packed, a great atmosphere and a really good menu. The food was very good and nicely precented . The staff were very friendly. What a difference!

Very nice, but sadly the chips tasted a little stale, as if they had been reheated. It was a real shame as the steak was fantastic. The staff were very nice and apologetic, but the offer of a free drink or a reduction on the bill would have made a huge difference. Nice atmosphere, but a shame there wasn't a fire roaring as it was a grim night outside. A few minor tweaks and this would be a 5 star place.

Warm & friendly atmosphere with great food & service. Booking is advised as it was nice to see a busy Sunday service .

A lovely, warm, ancient, and comfortable, country pub. Hearty food. Well worth routine visits. Nice folk serving the food and drink. A gem.Parking: The pub has a small parking area, but there is on street parking close to it.

It's got better since I last went but the food isn't very nice. Ploughmans for example isn't very well thought out and dry. The lasagne is nice though. The scotch eggs are terrible. Nutts scotch eggs are made in the village and are three times are good. Runny yolk and no soggy breadcrumbs where they've been stored on a cold dish in a damp fridge. Can't fault the service though or the atmosphere, it's certainly got better

We had a very nice lunch here, and the service was excellent, but she seemed to be the only one sorting things, so don't know how she would have managed if it was busier. Food was good, but not sure if we'll return.
