Just want to say how great the service was from the staff from start to finish after a group of 9 of us dined to celebrate my daughter and her girlfriend’s birthdays. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was great too! We all had a great evening thank you! ☺️

We went in a party of 8. Lovely food but quite slow service. We has to ask for someone to come and take our drinks order and then had to find someone to find out where the drinks were! No one asked if there were any allergies which there was. Having said this, plenty of parking and lovely food.

Food and drinks: The lasagne was amazing as was the salmon and pie

Had two nights here as visiting longleat. The room was large with all the usual amenities. Had a meal
both nights. Friday was unlimited pie night and a carvery and Saturday was a carvery. Both were delicious and the breakfast was very good too. The staff were friendly and attentive so we will be returning if back in the area.

Needed an overnight stay before going to Wincanton. Excellent room. Dinner and breakfast exceptional. Would recommend staying here if in this area. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms: Furniture in bedroom matched and was homely. Room was spacious and had French doors to outside.

Food & drinks: Food was excellent and with friendly serving staff.

Despite being advertised as dog friendly, it seems dogs are not allowed indoors or indeed most of the outdoor areas too. A very small outside terrace is the only area dogs are allowed. So i would clarify this as dogs just about tolerated and not friendly.
