Brilliant place. The food is absolutely amazing, I love the biryani and the samosas in particular, but everything I've had there has been great (even dishes that i didn't particularly like at other takeaways). Also, Wincanton Tandoori has the best Tandoori chicken I've ever tasted. Added to that, the chaps at the counter, Faz and Immy, are two of the friendliest guys you could ever meet, they greet you with such ebullience that they started off as just guys who worked in the local takeaway, but now I call them my friends. Everything is done with upmost alacrity. I highly recommend Wincanton Tandoori both for the food and the service - brilliant place, brilliant food and brilliant service

Me and my friend were on a roadtrip to Stone Henge. We took a stop here to have dinner.The staff were so accommodating. Since it was our first indian food experience in UK, they made us small dishes so that we could try out different flavors. They also gave us extra price. We were very touched by their kind gestures, and they truly made our day by their kindness and thoughtfulness.

Had a takeaway last night, ordered popadums, pickles, 2 kormas and 2 rice. Popadums tasted stale and the kormas were very poor, basically just a very watery coconut sauce not creamy at all as I would expect. I won’t be ordering from there again.

Have just started going back there after a 5 year absence. They now only do takeaway and the food is absolutely outstanding. The service is also excellent with polite and friendly staff.

Ordered a takeaway from here, prices were very good but quality of food was poor. Both the chicken and veg buhna had no flavour. Service was quick and staff polite shame about the food.

Grubs good, website erratic to say the least. Used to be free delivery, now £4.50 for a three mile trip, plus 50p for something, a fiver extra. I'll still use them as the grubs decent, not so much though, I can cook my own and get the missus to deliver it to me when I send her out the back door and she walks round the front
