“Went here for a meal with family, booked a table in advance because there was a few of us, booking system worked very well, there is a full menu, the food was very good as was the attentive service, prices not to scarey either and as a bonus, dog friendly in the bar area Would recommend this place ?”

“We grabbed a quick lunch here - I had the southern fried chicken wrap and my partner had a cheese and mushroom toastie. Food came quickly, at a good temperature and it’s very good value too. My partner recommends the banana milkshake and I enjoyed my latte. A 5* lunch.”

“I was fortunate to come across this Cafe on my travels. Opened at 08.30. Very nice Vegetarian Breakfast, Tea and Coffee. The Cheese Scone was probably the best I can remember having.Super service, and the atmosphere enhanced by a couple of locals. I hope to pass that way again !Free Council Car Park across the road. Amazing.Vegetarian options: Given the size of the little Town and the Cafe, the Vegetarian options are very good.Parking: Free Council Car ParkWheelchair accessibility: Can get in the door fine if that's what you mean.”

“This is a great place to take a break while traveling along the busy A303 trunk road......It's easy to find as it's well sign posted from the main road with easy access from the roundabout....As you pull in you will find a large carpark with plenty of good sized spaces........There are plenty of grassed areas with picnic tables scattered around.....Then you will see the large public toilet block,the gift shop and information centre plus the cartgate lodge cafe where you can get your refreshments,with a lot of food and drinks to choose from........ Overall a great place to stop and stretch your legs and have a drink and a bite to eat before continuing your journey....?”

“What can I say about the barn at cott farm , myself and my now wife got married there last Saturday with a lot of our friends and family and what a day it was . Becca and Ollie are fantastic hosts and were unbelievable In planning our perfect day , everything about the venue ticks the boxes from the fantastic food to the overnight campsite and the outside pizza oven and bar all made for such a memorable weekend there , can’t thank them enough and also would recommend this venue to anyone I speak to , it simply is the perfect wedding venue !! .”
