This is a great place to take a break while traveling along the busy A303 trunk road......It's easy to find as it's well sign posted from the main road with easy access from the roundabout....As you pull in you will find a large carpark with plenty of good sized spaces........There are plenty of grassed areas with picnic tables scattered around.....Then you will see the large public toilet block,the gift shop and information centre plus the cartgate lodge cafe where you can get...read full review

A very friendly cafe, located just off the A303 so very easy to get to from every direction. A good selection on the menu from pasties and sandwiches to full meals and all day breakfast. All well priced. I would certainly recommend a visit.

Lovely stopping off point. Toilets were spotless and the lady looking after the ladies toilet was superb. Helpful and polite. 5 star service. Only wish I'd got her name to record it in this review.
