“We've been wanting to come down the hill and try this place for over a year, as its on the doorstep, its been on our radar as a place we'd like to visit. Today we tried it and we left feeling SAD.... Sad that we didn't try it so much sooner!The food was cooked fresh, piping hot and tasty. For ages I've moaned we can't find a good traditional pub, with a traditional pub lunch and atmosphere. Everywhere feels so soulless with the same menu and all belonging to the same chains these days, so this place was like a breath of fresh air and captures all the nostalgia of how things used to be!!Each member of staff we spoke to was so nice too. They couldn't do enough for you.We will be back. In fact, we can't wait!Sad we can only score it 5 out of 5 when it's worth so much more couldnt find a single fault!It was getting busy and filling up fast while we were there so it's worth booking! Even on a Wednesday afternoon! Shows how successful this place is, they have got it perfect! Please don't change anything!!!”
