Discriminatory staff member, was too cowardly to even give her name how pathetic. But you can't miss her just beware of her if you happen to be from any ethnic minority, she has dark hair a milky white face and a constant sour look to her, never smiles and serves food in a bad mood with a long gloomy look.Tried to order food and told me she couldn't serve because I tried to record her last week ?.Asked her for proof and asked her to check CCTV but she said she didn't need too,she was just top cowardly to admit the real reason.Other staff were ok but being passive to discrimination in 2022 is unacceptable unfortunately its not the dark ages. You'd imagine wetherspoon staff would've learned a lesson from their colleagues who have been prosecuted for this kind of behaviour.

You get exactly what you pay for at any Whetherspoon's pub. This pub was no exception.Good food, a great selection of good beers and a convivial atmosphere plus low prices.Thank you Tim Martin. Keep up the good work and may you prosper post COVID.

Met up with friends for a quick bite lunchtime. Not too busy. Typical wetherspoons. Food was good. Opted for pizza was good value.

Food ok bit menu very lacking of staple pub grub. No gammon no pues but if you want a burger with 1001 dressings that's ok.

Same story at other W/spoon outlet lack session real ales. Doomed to mainstream mass produced real ales. And Real Ale Festival being advertised in leaflet for 20th Oct to 31st with 20 choices from only 3.6abv to 6.0. There were three local ales from Sheffield, as lady explained who came to explain after I pointed out the dreaded Doombar was not local at bar. Have only been CAMRA member on and off since 1970s. Food was quickly served, though only garlic bread and 8 inch pizza. The garlic bread was undercooked, though eatable. Doughy but for 73 year old did not suffer indigestion! At least Barnsley folk have not changed nor thaccent!

All the usual meals of Wetherspoons. In the town centre but down a back street. Much rather go there in the day time. I have noticed the menu has changed for all Wetherspoon pubs and not for the better

The burger and a pint deal is always terrific value, ordering on the app can be a tad problematic if wanting a real ale but food arrived promptly and was great value.

Very good food, for a cheap price. Yeah there was a screaming family a few tables away but it comes with the territory.Very friendly staff, however the table was a bit sticky but again, that's to be expected. All in all- a pleasant experience.

Been here today for lunch, the food was good and hot. Between us, we had two Currys, a classic burger and a pizza. PIzza was hard to cut. Friday and hardly any Cider or no Dark Fruits, John Smiths a bit flat. Service at the bar was not great and some people had their drinks order mixed up.
