How the night ended…For my 21st birthday, we decided to book a table at the restaurant section as we have previously visited for my 19th birthday and had an amazing experience. When we arrived, we were informed that there was two large birthday celebrations taking place in the restaurant section and instead we were being seated in the pub section. When seated, the room was already starting to get abit rowdy due to it being a Saturday night. However, what started as an okay experience, suddenly took a quick turn. We were seated next to a loud speaker blasting music which meant we were unable to hear each other speak as we were drowned out by the pounding music. We asked for this to be turned down multiple times, however soon after this was turned back up. Secondly, there was a bunch of lads behind us who were vaping and swearing which is not the experience you want to pay for and don’t expect either at a restaurant. Due to the loud noises and blasting music, this caused two of our older guests to leave due to severe headache. Quickly after our mains were served and a decline in appetite, we requested for our food to be boxed up and instead we would eat at home. We received a 25% discount, however we’re still expected to fork out a large sum of money. There was NO communication from the managers advising us that we would be seated in the bar section due to the large parties and if we had known this we would have booked somewhere else and spent £180 else where that would have been WORTH the money we paid. Overall, our experience was awful and was left with a miserable 21st birthday celebrations. Thanks

Perfect food with pleasant staff including the chef who is more than happy to chat to you regarding the food, fantastic experience and the food was great, cooked to perfection. I would definitely come here again. There was 3 of us in the group and I thought everything was reasonably priced, not too expensive, the toilets are nice aswell very classy!Food & drinks: Chimichuri steak

Had the pepperoni pizza,tasted a little doughy,would have preferred it to be a little more crispy,and a little less peppers,would visit again though and try something different.
Visited Saturday night for our sons 14th birthday, 5 adults and 1 child. We had a selection of starters, drinks and mains. Service was warm, welcoming and the food was lovely. We thought about going out of town but instead stayed local and glad we did.Please pass on our thanks to the chefs, bar staff and waiting team.

We visited bawtry's bar and brasserie yesterday afternoon and decided to have a bite to eat. We have eaten here before and it is never disappointing. ??The place altogether is very nice good selection of drinks, and the atmosphere is a good vibe.Staff very friendly.We will be back soon ?.Eddie.

Fabulous food and service as usual 4 of us had pizza which were all hot and tasty and chef created a chicken salad which she was most impressed with .The young lady who was front of house was professional and attentive following up on food being served to check all was OK and getting us extra drink orders . We'll worth the money.
