The food was delicious. We would definitely go again.

16 The Courtyard, Bawtry, DoncasterEl Toro, well I really can't fault the place, food, staff, the whole evening was fantastic. The all you can eat Tapas was incredible and it's the whole menu not just the cheaper options or "Chef's specials" all in all great value we will definitely be returning.

Mayflower Grill and Eatery
20 High Street, Austerfield, DoncasterFirst time visit for lunch today, everything was perfect, delicious proper home cooked food (my lasagne was amazing and my 5 companions really enjoyed their meals), great service and the decor is really nice, especially with all the Christmas decorations. About 40 min drive for us but worth it so will definitely be returning. Places like this deserve to do well.

I would definitely come here again. There was 3 of us in the group and I thought everything was reasonably priced, not too expensive, the toilets are nice aswell very classy!Food & drinks: Chimichuri steak

12 Swan St, Bawtry, DoncasterFirst time in this pub. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Has a great sports area with vertical drinking tables tvs quiz machines and a pool table. (Only downside was there was no useable cues. Either no tip , wonky or small ones) Great selection of beers friendly efficient service. Great beer garden too. Lovely pub

Scaftworth, DoncasterGreat food, very well cooked. Make sure you check when ordering if they recommend sides to be ordered along side your meal. The parmesan fries are heavenly.Service was at times slow and long gaps but it was really busy so understandable and in no way should put people off going.Space for people to sit in the busy noisy bar if thats your preference or sit in the quieter restaurant. Sat in both before and fine with either.Drinks were also great with good selection of good beers, spirits and wines available to cater for all tastes

5-6 Dower House Square, Bawtry, DoncasterWent here for the first time this week. Excellent staff and tasty food. Portions were big and lots of variety in the special dishes. House wine wasn't that great and tiramisu was a little disappointing but mains and starters + general atmosphere and attentiveness if staff made up for it!

Great atmosphere, good food but the drinks were expensive.Walkability: The Crown is in the center of Bawtry so you can access all the local amenities. There are great local walks at Harwell and King's Woods.

1 Market Pl, Bawtry, DoncasterI love the curry's ?? at Dower House!I visited on a Thursday night recently, a small group of 3, around 18:45, there were a few tables available and it filled up towards 8pm.I booked online ? and it took 24 hours before they replied. So I'd say if you wanted to make sure you're booked in contact the restaurant and book ?.You enter through the side door ?and arrive at a check in desk, if nobody is there continue through and left onto the bar and they'll seat you from there.A nice pint of kingfisher ?We had a couple of poppadoms each and a pickle tray, it was all really fresh and the lime pickle was easily the best I've had in ages! ?I had Chicken Dansak for main, a nice sweet curry ? ? and some pilau rice and a garlic chapati (not on the menu but they were happy to make it - it was really garlicky ?)It all tasted great ?We all had a starter and a main, + 1 garlic naan, 1 rice ? 1 chapati - 2 pints 1 pint of coke and we had white coffees ☕ to finish. It came to just over £100 which I felt was reasonable for the quality and service.The place was clean and tidy and the staff were all friendly ???My photos didn't come out very well, I only managed the starter! Pakora photo, which tasted great.I can't wait to go back again ?Parking: 2-3 pounds for a few hours, card or cash at the pay machineWheelchair accessibility: Access ♿ into the restaurant seemed ok, but please not this when you're booking. I'm not sure if there is a downstairs toilet, there may be for disabled.

Highly recommendWheelchair accessibility: Advised when booking that we had a wheelchair member in our party. Provided us with a table on the upper level so where able navigate around other guests/tables.
