I've visited here before and loved the food, visited again for the mothers days set menu and have to say was a little bit let down by the food the pork dinner was just a little lackluster.Best I can say everything was warm and there was plenty of food but the main did seem re-warmed.I put it down to being so busy and being in a party of 11 but still a little disappointed after the first visit.
Third visit , excellent the first visit, second also lovely garlic mushrooms are to die for. Last visit was also good but the special which was chicken with cabbage and bacon all 3 of us had said it came with sautéed potatoes. But arrived with new potatoes, maybe I should have said something at the Time. Wine is quite expensive at £8 a glass

Gorgeous food, gorgeous place. ?Went once, had to go again.Great for a quiet meal, and a good chat.Staff were lovely and polite, make you feel welcome.And they have my favourite pudding.. Jam Rolly Polly... YumYum hard to find that on a menu these days.Only a smallish car park though, but a nice outdoor seating area.Theres a woodland walk just across the road, its a nice place for a starting point or finnishing point.
