First time visiting, mid week. Still busy.Decided to order food. We both had the steak and onion baguette.Food was well presented, quality good and quantityGood size . I actually didn't manage to finish mine as was too much for me.Atmosphere was busy, I think it one of those places were locals dominant the bar and if your new it's noticed ?.That said bar staff friendly and helpfulParking: Difficult to find parking . Never been before but was suggested by my dining partner as a spot for breakfast. So visited early on a midweek day (opens at 9 I think). The place is primarily a pub with the usual that comes with that - big screen televisions, fruit machines etc. but the décor was very appealing and welcoming. We had Afternoon Tea and it was fantastic. The table was set up lovely. There was a lovely choice of finger sandwiches with salad, crisps and coleslaw. Washed down with tea and a cheeky G&T ? Followed by a huge cherry and sultana scone with clotted cream and jam, trifle and selection of buns served on 3 tier cake stand. We had to box up the buns to take home. Lovely staff and great value for money. ❤️
