I found that it is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly I have just one thing to ask and that is to sell none alcoholic cider they have none alcoholic beer but do not have cider
A fantastic local pub with a very homely atmosphere. The owners make you feel very welcome and staff service is polite and friendly. A great selection of Gins for the ladies & Gin nights are a must when they're on! Sunday lunches are great & there's weekly events with quiz nights Friday night bands . There's a great little beer garden at the rear and seating on the front. This pub is dog friendly and also has a pool table.A great , clean and homely comfortable local pub.

Called in on Monday lunch time after hearing the woodman was under new management. Previous experience had left us disappointed. Top marks for wonderful homemade and tasty food. I had the wensleydale chicken and it was beautiful. My partner had the slow cooked steak in guiness and again was amazing. We will be back.
