I am fussy about what i eat I have been going to this chippy several times a year for over 12 years.. I've never had a problem with either the fish or the chips and no they have never been soggy ... they are not meant to be I have always found the staff to be pleasant and polite ... perhaps some of the reviewers that complained about them had bad attitudes or behaved badly themselves ownership has changed and staff do change but I've no complaints about this chipy other than like...read full review

We have been using you since last Spring and we think your batter is not as good now. The last 3 times it's been soggy not crispy like it should be, the batter on the inside is not cooked.

This place has changed hand recently and it was well worth visiting again.Freshly cooked fish and the chips were very nice. Dont forget the Irish curry ,yummy. The tastiest gravy I have ever tasted from a chippy. And mushy peas to die for. Girl behind the counter needs to cheer up a bit.But highly recommended and I ll be back soon. Keep up the good work , this used to be a gold mine and busiest chippy around the area.Thx guys.
