Me and my husband have been coming to bay of bengal for many years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it.The food is amazing, the atmosphere is always welcoming and the service is always fabulous ?.Would highly recommend ?

Went on a Tuesday night for the buffet ? Would be more accurate to call it a meal dealThis consists ofA poppadom with pickle trayA starterA main courseA naan bread or riceThe cost good value at £14.99The baghis were nice and crispyMango chutney had a big kick to itThe mains very hot even thought it was supposed to be a mild dishThe peshwari naan was lovely as was the ghee riceJust be aware if you order a king prawn main dish they charge you an extra £4.50

Food was very very good. But it isnt fast (as others have observed) so dont go expecting fast food.I didnt do the hygiene inspection on this place but as an EHO I can tell you the condition of a premises loos tells you the likely state of kitchens. Id give this 4* with basic but clean ladies. However my colleague found the mens to be a 2* owing to an excess of bodily fluids and solids on the walls.
