Great dog friendly cafe, only had coffee and chips. So couldn't score really for food. Staff all seemed happy and the ONLY cafe in Thorne that takes dogs that we could find. Great view, great family place. But not so noisy it would get to you, so someone must have thought about sound proofing. Appeared extremely well run place. I have been to The Delves and cafe many years ago with my elderly mum. It is quite a "gem" of Thorne, and I loved the fishing ponds, the cafe was a lovely old building with great staff and food. So, I decided to take a good friend for a walk. I found out the cafe had been modernised but was temporarily closed. I will one day visit again.

Permanently closed, apparently been nearly a year since it shut, shame as it was a good little spot. Still a nice place to stop for a breather, just take your own drinks.

An excellent place to come..walk round and reflect, with plenty of waterborne birds to keep you company and is a big hit with local fishermen. There's a car park..cafe & WC.
