Just spent the week at Stanilands Marina to allow me to black the boat. Yes, the highlight of my week was the Barge Inn.Bar staff are very professional and helpful plus the fact you get service with a smile. Good selection of Beers, Lager, Wines and spirits. Plus you can pay by cash or card.Food cooked in the kitchen was excellent, served on a preheated plate to ensure that it stayed piping hot while eating it. Great place very local and convenient, lovely staff and are definitely worth a visit if you are local to Thorne. Their summer festival is a must do - and the prices are very competitive . Would definitely recommend for a afternoon evening out
