S Parade, Thorne, DoncasterFood was really nice, I had the Chicken and Black Pudding pie, and the filling was delicious. The pastry was disappointing as it was unfortunately quite hard. The Garlic and Thyme Mushroom starter was exceptional. I would highly recommend for anyone in the vicinity if they were wanting food, and my friends thought their steaks were outstanding.

The Old Lockside Tearoom
Thorne, DoncasterOldie worldie and pleasant surroundings indoors/outdoors and this adds to the character of the tea room.Very friendly attentive staff..well worth a visit.I go for free range eggs and I highly recommend them, the yolks are so rich in colour and flavour, locally sourced too ☺️....

19 Queen St, Thorne, DoncasterGreat atmosphere for the Sunday night general knowledge (a free buffet). Friendly bar staff, great for couples to have a good evening out as it's not the sort of venue for teenagers who drink alcopops whilst listening to rap etc.

Toasted cafe
Thorne, DoncasterWas recommended to go here for breakfast and was not dissapointed ~ even with a mix up with a hot drink. Food was done just as requested... Filling, tasty and kept it's heat ~ what else do you need to know when having Full-English breakfasts? Would definitely return if in the area and time permits.

30 King St, Thorne, DoncasterIt was my first time here yesterday and I am very impressed! As a fussy eater, not many cafes live up to my ridiculously high expectations but this cafe definitely did. I asked for a cottage pie and got a lovely plate full of veg and a Yorkshire pudding with gravy that was the right thickness and full of flavour. I couldn't believe that a plate full of well cooked food and a delicious hot chocolate only came up to just over 7 pound! When a week before I had spent nearly 30 pound just for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. Definitely be coming here again I cannot recommend it enough.

Market Place, Thorne, DoncasterCalled in day before for a breakfast which was good. Decided to give there Carvery a go. Phoned to book in, very busy, which is always a good sign. Choice of 3 meats from 5 and plenty of veg. Well impressed when the plates were taken to your table and gravy served separately. Most people left with take away box.

Spice Hut Thorne
9-10 Finkle Ct, Thorne, DoncasterFirst time dining in at the restaurant as we normally go collect and eat at home but managed to book in last minute for a table of 2 on Saturday, we had poppadoms, pickles tray, chicken tikka starter, spring rolls starter, chicken tikka masala main, chicken korma main, with chips and garlic naan bread, the food was delicious and we will definitely be visiting again to eat in at the restaurant, only downside is they don’t accept card but with a ATM just round the corner it’s not a big deal and for the effort it takes to get the cash out it’s definitely worth the visit for the amazing food

KFC Doncaster - Thorne Road
Leger Retail Centre, Thorne Rd, DoncasterI am not the greatest KFC fan but I was Hank Marvin so just tried a mini fillet burger and a couple of wraps.The staff were welcoming and efficient and all looked happy in their lot. One young lad was working very hard out front to keep tables clear and cleaned.Should tortilla be crispy?
