Staff and food where both loverly, really enjoyed the special board meal. Yorkshire pud both beef stew, really nice atmosphere on top of everything really made it nice, it had only been reopened for 3 months, well done to the owners on their selection of staff both super
Took Dad out for lunch and he absolutely loved the beef hot pot, "the best meal he's had in ages, just like Mam used to make" and the pub is a good old traditional Yorkshire pub, no loud music or Sports TV! Not spotless to say the least, but step back in time before the days of reviews when pubs were pubs, none of them would be. Will definitely take Dad back for another of their lovely hot pots. Please keep it on the menu :-)

Went walking on the trail and called in for a meal, the pub has been taken over recently and is trying to get customers back after being closed. The pub was clean & nice, good music choice, the food was brilliant, loved the fish & chips and the bridge burger but be warned that you need to have a big appetite to finish this?The pub also has a beer garden and plenty of parking.
