Cote Ln, Thurgoland, SheffieldMoved out of Thurgoland about 40 years ago. On a rare visit back this weekend my wife and I popped in for a couple of beers prior to a walk. Received a warm welcome and enjoyed a nice chat with new landlady, Aya, who had only taken charge of the pub recently. Wish you every success Aya for your future in a lovely village.

The Countess
Park Ave, Wortley, SheffieldVisited for a coffee and a scone. Made to feel very welcome by polite friendly staff. Got talking to two other customers and before we knew it we had spent an hour. They do a rewards card which we shall be making good use of. The scone and coffee were of good quality just in case you ask.
