The Timberyard Tapas and Micro Bar
5 Montgomery Rd, Wath upon Dearne, RotherhamI had been recommended to visit this restaurant and it was a lovely experience. The main restaurant is only small as it’s a micro bar as well . We were seated in the marquee round the back . It was tasteful decorated and nicely lit . It had heaters and the gave us fleeced blankets for our legs . 3 tapas for 18 . The food came in large bowls so with three of us the table it was full . I had a cheese and tomato flatbread as well and that was big and tasty as all the dishes The site said 30 mins from order but it started to come in about 10 mins . There is a car park across from tescos . It is a short walk from there up a ramp to the right . I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is available on Facebook to book or to ring . I will definitely be back soon

62 Marvell Wy., Wath upon Dearne, RotherhamAbsolute 10/10. Restaurant quality food. Try it now, you won’t regret it! The flavours of each dish were absolutely unreal. Ordered quite a lot as wasn’t too sure what I’d like (not had much Thai food) and have enough to feed a small army left for tomorrow. Really nice guy who delivered Rich, who said they are opening a restaurant in Rotherham very soon - I’m not surprised with the quality of the food they are serving up! Wishing you every success, I’ll be sure to visit!

BlueBell Inn
Manvers Way, Wath upon Dearne, RotherhamHad burgers at The Bluebell on a Friday and then went back on Sunday for a roast dinner, now that we knew how good the food was! Delicious meals both times, great atmosphere, and what impressed us most was the service. The table was clean, sauces stocked, we used the QR code and food came quickly, and every single interaction was friendly, positive and helpful. Particular thanks to Curtis, and hats off to all the staff for creating such a warm and welcoming pub!Vegetarian options: Ultimate veggie burger was delicious! Sunday roast also came with two veggie options, which was a first! I had the spinach pie which was really good :)

I really appreciated the vegetarian options available, such as the mock chicken and duck, as it can be difficult to find vegetarian options in Chinese takeaways. The Church House - JD Wetherspoon
Montgomery Square, Wath upon Dearne, RotherhamWath Upon Dearne is a short-ish drive from home and we thought we'd give breakfast a go at The Church House. Reasonably pleased we did, it was very nice indeed. Early indications are good. It's a lovely building and has been looked after exceptionally well. Neat and tidy, standards haven't slipped and the customer service matched up perfectly. The breakfast ordered was Wetherspoons Traditional. The general quality varies wildly from pub to pub within the chain. but this one was right up there. All cooked evenly and nicely, the beans were even hot and skin free, the true 'Spoons litmus test. Left the pub with no complaints, really enjoyed the visit. Excellent.

Domino's Pizza - Wath Upon Dearne
Unit 6, onyx retail park, Harris Hawk Wy, Wath upon Dearne, RotherhamTakeaway delivery. Food came quickly and it was hot. Lovely pizza and wedges. Order cinni strips but got gatlic bread strips instead, which was a bit disappointing but the did shop offered to refund for cinni strips.Dominoes is a little expensive but it was good.

Onyx Fish Bar and Grill (Under New Management, since mid Nov 2019)
Unit 12 Harris Hawk Wy, Wath upon Dearne, RotherhamCalled in for some lunch with a friend and decided to eat in. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and the food was lovely. I had the kebab batch special but without the batch. The chips were lovely and fresh, not greasy like some of the comments I’ve read on this page. The kebab meat was great and the salad fresh. I also like the way it was presented in proper crockery and not the take out boxes. Really nice lunch, very relaxed and very tasty. Will definitely be going back. Well priced too I thought in comparison with other chip shops in the area. I like mayo before anyone gives negative comments on my picture.

Cake fresh and tasty. Would go again. Staff very friendly and helpful.Parking: Could not say. Most spaces taken when I arrived at approx 11.15.
