First time here and didn’t even know of this place. You take your own drinks but you can use the pub next door for your drinks if you want. The food was fantastic, tasty and hot.

Excellent service from the very friendly and welcoming staff. There is a good choice on the menu and the food was very tasty and hot. The only reason I have given the food 4 stars instead of 5 is because raw cabbage, carrot, and olives were served with my curry which I felt was unusual and didn't add anything to the meal ?Overall a good experience and I will certainly return.

We have visited Apne many times over many years, it is by far our favourite Indian restaurant and takeaway anywhere! Service is always superb, lovely people, lovely food.

Have eaten at this restaurant a few times and had good food but booked a table this week. The food was horrendous. I’m not sure if it has changed hands but the food was inedible. When we complained they wasn’t interested at all. After this experience I would not recommend at all !!!

Simply the best Indian food I've had. Ever since I first came to this place when it first opened I have also been warmly greeted , and divinely treated. Firstly the standard of the food in my opinion from poppadoms to main courses is of the highest level. The food tastes amazing and I've tried most of the menu but the king prawn mango puree is a definite winner as a great starter and chicken murghi kurma is just a great mix of flavours but not for the faint hearted. The unique sauces that compliment the poppadoms is a great fresh blend of chutneys that you won't find in other Indian restaurants. If there is a down side I guess many won't like the fact you have to bring your own alcohol but for me that's not an issue when I go out to eat but there is a lovely pub next door that will cater for your needs. If you want to try something fresh and full of flavour then ask for the mango lasse , you won't regret it. Now that the food is out the way it's great to mention the very kind helpful staff that are always on hand to get you the things you need and ask how you are. The owner is also very pleasant but more importantly he is very passionate about his food and the experience he delivers. He has a hands on approach when it comes down to it and will spend alot of the time in the kitchen but when he is available he is on the floor welcoming and chatting to his guests and encouraging people to try some of his specials and I can again say you won't be disappointed. All I can say is give it ago , book in advanced and enjoy the classics or be adventurous and try something new , either way the apne won't disappoint

Delivery slightly late - Forgivable.2 x curry's, both watery1 Garlic nan, think they forgot the garlicChicken Korma, with the sauce made of ground up blotting paper, well seeing as they forgot to put the taste in, I'm presuming it was made from that.Probably the most tasteless curry we've ever had!
