What a cracking boozer....Visited on Fri 6 October 2023 with a couple of mates....Never been before....Only had one pint but it was an absolute banging pint of Bass - I love Bass and always have one, when I see it and as a Scotsman, it gets my top marks - it was "A Braw Drop" -- this is my absolute top mark!Well done - congratulations!Jeff Mac
Visited the Coopers Tavern with friends Saturday afternoon after it was recommended to me as an old fashioned friendly Boozer selling good beer. Sure enough it was exactly that ,friendly comfortably rustic and regularly visited by adults who were in on the secret. After two pork pies and four pints of 'Wandering Monk' ale we left and I was at home asleep by 6.30

Perfect pub. Beer, atmosphere, staff all great. Open fire when it's cold, nice classic pub decor, genuine history, comftable seats. Pork pies and Joules beer (and others!). Highly recommended.
