Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was perfectly cooked with crispy batter and moist flaky fish inside. The chips were also very tasty. I had the medium size which was more than adequate and, at their prices, very good value.

We travel from Sutton Coldfield to visit Tommy's Fish Bar and Restaurant, usually on a Saturday and the owner and staff are always very welcoming and attentive. The fish and chips are first class, cooked fresh and good portions at a very reasonable rate. If you like fish and chips - this is the place to eat. Excellent.

Really good fish n' chips served hot and freshly cooked. Very good prices considering that wholesale goods and energy costs have gone up so much. Also very friendly service. Another great thing that I liked about the place is how the staff looked after an elderly lady in there who was confused and ill. The owner came downstairs to talk to her and check on her wellbeing, another gent, presumably the proprietor's son, called her a taxi to return her to her care home and a pleasant young woman kept coming out of the washing area to keep her company despite being busy. They were absolutely lovely with her. Great food, fair prices, nice, caring staff looking out for the vulnerable people in the community. You can't get better than that.

Outstanding food, both my partner and I had ordered a medium fish n chips with peas.Waited perhaps 20mins sat in restaurant area and was definitely worth waiting for.Pleasant service and very good food for an excellent price.Will be returning A++

Visited whilst in the town centre when I fancied some real chips and I wasn't disappointed. The chips were a good size and not greasy. I had a fishcake with these and it was fluffy and light inside with a nice, crisp coating. Again, this wasn't greasy. You could eat in or out (I chose to take out) and the seating area looked well presented. Staff were really friendly and the portion size was good value for money. Best thing was you can help yourself to salt and vinegar, something that most chip shops will not allow you to do anymore! Great place!
Went there for first time place clean etc but price on chips fish beans drink 10.90 that wasn't real a issue chips were not nice at all the fish was over cooked dryed never again for me chips no taste like old potatoes reheated
