Being coming here for years. Glad to see it still has a good mix of customers and friendly bar staff. Had a lovely pint of Guinness. They need to remove the COVID barrier at the back of the pub to return it to its former glory.
Very good range of beer, but not quite sure why there was no Pedigree or Bass in a Burton pub. Disappointed to be told that there was no food available, not even a sandwich until possibly 2.00pm

Great pub , always consistent ,good friendly atmosphere, landlord and landlady very hospitable ,if you enjoy real ale this is a must ,good variety always new ones on offer and if you don’t drink ale there’s ciders , shorts and wines as an alternative.
