Had a lovely meal with my mum. Service was brilliant, atmosphere was great too. We had the steak and gammon, both cooked perfectly.Did not have to wait long for food even though it was peak Sunday lunch time.
Didn't go for food so can't pass judgment.However, we visited for the Newcastle United vs PSG game. The bar area is rather small but this only adds to the atmosphere. The locals aren't afraid to get involved and happy to talk with you. Nice little fireplace, a shame that it wasn't used but has potential.The service gets a 4 rather than 5, only due to at times, there was a considerable wait despite being the only one waiting. Can't fault them at all. The food was delicious and really reasonably priced. The staff were awesome and very welcoming, especially considering one of our dogs was being a bit of a pain. Will be back again
