The Grn, Weston, StaffordWe visited on Saturday 23rd August as a group of 20, and everything was spot on. The food was really good, arrived on time, hot, and all together, which made a big difference for such a large group. Prices were very reasonable too. Debbie and Martin, the landlords, were so welcoming and made sure everything ran smoothly for us. The whole experience was excellent, and I’d definitely recommend this pub, whether you’re visiting as a couple, family, or with a big group like ours.

The Cock At Stowe
Station Rd, Stowe-by-Chartley, StaffordStopped in here for a family lunch on our way home from Southport to Reading.
Lovely food, we all had the Sunday roast and a vegetarian meal and puddings. All delicious. They also allow dogs which was a bonus for us. Would definitely recommend this pub.

Saracens Head
Stafford Rd, Weston, StaffordStayed in the car park (camper) for the night and got the first good cider I had on the trip to that point. Their takeaway deals (2-for-1 pizza, for example) are great (so,too, was the pizza) and their breakfast sandwiches were decent (bread was uninspiring). Highly recommended, especially when with a camper. Extremely laid back and no pressure to consume, which makes it even easier to do so.
