First time ordering,no problem with the chip shop but very very expensive for the portion size,mixed meat and chips £9.50 is double other chips shops.

Great fish and chips reasonably priced and well located just off the main road through the village on my way back from hiking in the Peak District. A small number of car parking right outside the shop.

Amazing traditional Naan bread kebab! ?… as an official local? I can approve of this place, food is Amazing! And can we ignore ?these bad reviews, guys a legend been in the business over 30 years. Definitely recommend.
Fish & chips from here had become my guilty pleasure and I'd recommended the place to several friends. Sadly my visit yesterday will be my last. One medium-sized fish with rock-hard batter, a portion of pasty looking chips and a small carton of peas certainly did not justify the price of £11.80Normally when I get home everything is hot and ready to eat but the latest offering had to go in the microwave, not what I expected at all.I can't justify paying that amount for fish & chips, even if they had been good quality. Ohh dear made a special journey and wished we hadn't , 2 large fish mine was white flesh that tasted of nothing much and turned to mush when trying to pick it up, the wifes was off white and had a strong taste to it and also turned to mush when picking it up . theres no excuse for serving this kind of food we only went down the road to a lay by to eat them too so no long journey excuses

We have used this chippy loads ,but last night was dire. Pudding was cold , an item (fishcake) payed for but not included, and finally old 5p in the change. Never again!!

Disappointed my order was missing the large sausage having drove a long way away to realise when getting back to accommodation. Unfortunately, to drive back to pick up would've cost me more than £1.50 on fuel.
