I absolutely love the food here, new favourite place. I had a couple of requests that mix items they serve (like cheese on the toast in the full English breakfast, and a mocha frappe) and they absolutely outdid themselves! Wonderful food, lovely people, and excellent service. Thank you so much!

Lovely little cafe, freindly staff... Good quality food and cakes, and nice cuppa. Friendly atmosphere, and you can tell how good it is because it is nearly always tricky to get a seat.. Our fave Cafe in Lichfield.

Didn't rate this breakfast was alright othing that stands out. Was seated by the toilets and I couldn't belive the traffic of people going in and out of the toilet. Literally a cue standing round my table. Get rid of that table guys was an awful experience. Popped in yesterday about 1

What a great little cafe, 2nd visit in three days, its service is excellent even though they were busy. The food is excellent piping hot, lots of choice. Service great. Love it. Highly recommended

Fantastic food, drink, and the staff are very pleasant - well worth the money. I had a BLT bagel with mayo, salad and chips. You get a generous helping of bacon which is lovely and crispy also the chips were really warm. Highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Had a nice coffee and a brownie. My friend had a custard tart. Both nice but we should have asked for a knife as both were hard to eat as the pastry was hard and the brownie was very dense. Nice taste though.

Two of us called in on a busy Tuesday lunchtime in late August: internally, the place was packed to the rafters, but we managed to find outside seating at the back of the premises. I was a little surprised that it was necessary for one of us to have to return inside to place our orders but, as my dining companion had been here before, they 'knew the drill' and duly obliged. We didn't have to wait long before two delicious Milk Shakes appeared. Verdict: 'Maccies, eat your heart out!' - this was possibly the best one I'd ever tasted since those faraway days of childhood at the seaside. I should have spent more time savoring it and less time time rushing it down, as it was almost a meal in itself, quite filling and totally moreish. No disappointment either when my 'Prawn Mains' appeared quickly afterwards: plenty of the former in a delicate, well-balanced sauce. Bread was delicious and the salad clearly fresh and well prepared with a subtle, but not over-invasive dressing. Coleslaw was refreshingly tasty and a pleasant change from the normal 'Vinegar-drenched' afterthoughts served in many places.Value for money I couldn't fault: portion sizes were surprisingly generous and more akin to those of £12-15 per head equivalents in boutique or chain establishments nearby. This admirably explains the packed house we encountered - varied and delicious menu options at excellent prices - and timely, attentive service from pleasant and friendly staff.Overall, I give a 4 Star Rating: Full Marks for value, customer service at table, and an exemplary culinary experience. Sadly, the same establishment missed out on an otherwise 5 Star Rating for an outside patio area looking as though it had seen better days and could use a little more love and tidying up: and the need for diners to return through the thronging masses to the tills inside to place an order. Those minor points apart - an excellent venue and something of a hidden jewel - somewhere I would recommend to others and visit again next time I am in Lichfield and in need of refreshments.

Visited twice and both visits were five star, excellent food and service, always busy and queues waiting for tables. Toast is the best you’ll try anywhere in Lichfield! In a city with so much choice this cafe shines

Terrible coffee, completely tasteless! Food was very average! One plus point staff were friendly, but service was very slow.

They haven't a clue about coffee. We asked for a flat white and got something huge and frothy. We asked for it not to be too hot and I burnt my tongue.

I shared a delicious ham, cheese and tomato toasty. Very fresh and tasty lunch. The cappuccino was lovely and the egg tart Devine. Great place for a tasty and fresh lite lunch.
