Lovely staff and really good food! My son had an absolute blast doing the Easter egg hunt inside. It’s little details like these in addition to the lovely staff and really good food that really made for a great lunch. Was only passing by on the way to the lakes. Visited 28 March 2024 with my son and his partner. My son ordered gammon and all the trimmings - it came on a pretty small plate, with only a few chips and no pineapple ring (just a rectangular flat dry piece). His partner had a kebab with salad which she really enjoyed. I had the pork belly - it was quite tasty though hard to cut and the French beans were tough.

Clean & tidy inside with diff seating area's.Outside was rubbish free, nice planted areas, plenty of carparking.The FOOD/SUNDAY ROAST was fabulous.....hubby & son had the roast trio, I had the turkey. Roasties were lovely. Broccoli was a but al dente, and other veg was cooked to perfection.The gravy....you could taste the meat juices, and it was really nice.This was my Mother's Day meal....our son is in the Army, so you celebrate when you can.Googled 'roasts in Lichfield' and you came up. Looked at the Vintage Inns website, researched, liked what I saw, so booked.Would I go back? YES.Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled WC is near kitchen entrance, so take someone with you re the toilet door opening/closing....in case of a slight crash.

Everything was delightful from the moment we walked in. The ambience was just right, dimly lit that gave it a romantic feel. Justine was very attentive and nothing was to much trouble for her. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were just right. Highly recommend!
Food was luke warm at best, also paid £4 extra to add scallops, got 2. My wife's was also luke warm at best. She ordered sea bass and king prawns, 3 prawns came, and they were not king prawns. Also stayed there the night, rooms ok but shower was in need of tlc and a deep clean.
