Visited on Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon. Pretty quiet. Service was friendly and helpful, two inside rooms were comfortable, and we sat in the garden until the late summer wasps chased us back inside.
Beautiful little pub in Lichfield newly refurbished to a very high standard. New landlady and her staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Beer garden is the best in Lichfield overlooking the cathedral. Can’t wait to return.

Visited yesterday afternoon. A traditional two-roomed pub with lovely old features. Just a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. Welcomed by the very friendly lady on the bar and enjoyed two pints from the choice of 7 real ales.Well worth a visit if you like a choice of well kept real ales.I didn't eat but noticed a wide range of snacks, pork pies, samosas,etc.
