Pretty classic Weatherspoons. Was a particularly cold day so popped in for a dessert and a hot drink. The place is nicely decorated, and was cozily warm. I would say, my food wasn’t warm, and they had run out of hot chocolate in the machine. However, they did still provide sachets of galaxy hot chocolate so thought that was quite good.

It's well located in the main street around the town centre just next to the park. Popular with the locals; we came to have breakfast and was well impressed!Food was freshly made, delicious, and served with a lovely smile ?The place is clean, spacious neat and has the great service staff during our visit ?Nice and clean toilets upstairs ?The drinks on promotions are good deals and quite popular

Great pub, basic no frills, good atmosphere. Excellent place to stop for a drink or drink and meal. Order and pay at counter. No music as its a good meeting place for people to talk. The prices are excellent £6.75 for burger and chips and a drink included. Food hot and fresh, the chips were crisp on outside, soft and fluffy on inside, coleslaw was very good like home made.
