So yesterday was Mothers Day, and nothing was planned for the day, and unfortunately I didn't realise with Albert's Cafe, they had a mother's day event. So I rang up and just asked them if that had any availability unfortunately they said they were booked but they could do something for us which I highly appreciated. They were so welcoming to us. They catered the afternoon tea for us. The effort was just phenomenal. Amazing staff and management! They made my first mothers day very special. Thank you so so much to all the staff and management. With the sandwiches and cakes; we enjoyed every little bit. They were absolutely delicious.I'll make sure my partner books next year.

This is a little corner of café paradise in an enchanting park situated just across the road from Stafford railway station. Located in the tranquil surroundings of a river, aviary and tropical plant greenhouse, Albert’s Café is the perfect place to unwind in. Boasting ample seating indoors and outdoors (under cover), a warm welcome as and good menu, this is the perfect all-year-round pit stop. Lovely!Kid-friendliness: Super kid and family friendly, including access to nearby play activities.

Albert’s Cafe in Victoria Park is a smart and modern cafe selling a simple but tasty range of snacks and an extensive selection of coffees, teas etc. A previous reviewer states that he had a terrible bacon sandwich that cost £15.50 and, in fairness, I must point out that although we didn’t eat here, the menu clearly shows a bacon roll to be £4.50 and everything on the menu was under £10. There are half a dozen or so tables inside as well as extra seating on a nice, outdoor terrace. We only had a couple of mugs of tea, which hit the spot perfectly and the service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our visit and, all in all, this is a super cafe to get a bit of refreshment after a pleasant riverside stroll.

Very poor and slow service, it took almost 10 minutes to complete our drinks order, which was one coffee and one tea. When they arrived, the drinks were spilled into the saucer’s and they wasn’t even busy. What has happened to customer service?

Just had the most substandard bacon sandwich I have ever had. Cheap bread and fatty salty bacon. £15.50 for the privilege.
