Myself and my friend went to the Shrewsbury cafe for a light lunch, the staff are always pleasant and the jackets with cheese were spot on Very good value at under £5 each and the place is always clean and well run?

Went to get a late lunch/snack, couldn’t see any cakes as they had been taken out of cabinet this was at 3.45, choose a toasted sandwich, no salad as had run out. Staff were rude and couldn’t have cared less. We ate those then went back to get a coffee to be told the coffee machine had been turned off, my colleague had a tea, I had a cold drink. We were sat drinking this and lo and behold they then turn the lights off at 4.45 , we were not the only customers in. Absolutely disgraceful !

I ate in at Cannocks Pausa and the food was delicious. I had the vegan cheese and tomato sandwich and it was delicious. I had a choice of vegan cakes also delicious. My only let down was no sugar free flavours for the lattes. I'll be back xx

£14 for two cups of coffee and two sausage rolls. Very expensive. Pretty outrageous. I would expect the cost to be around £7 at most. The only people in the cafe were over 65yr olds.

We love this Pausa in Shrewsbury Dunelm. The staff are wonderful and the coffee is the hottest and best in Shrewsbury. The manageress laughs at my husband when he asks for the crusts for his bacon sandwich ! Usually busy but they clear and clean tables as quickly as possible First visit in 2023 but there will be a lot more …….we have to travel to get there! Prices too are good. Long May it continue .

I called here with my daughter and grandson for lunch about 1pm. After the service being very slow… we were told that they had ran out of sandwiches for the children’s meal but we could have half a jacket potato. We ourselves ordered jacket potatoes with tuna, they were awful, very hard on the outside and hardly any potato on the inside, basically they were all dried up from being sat in the oven for hours in end it would seem. We struggled on with ours because we were hoping it would get better my grandson could eat his! Our tea pots were so full to the brim that they sloshed all over the tray leaving a puddle of tea on the tray. All in all a terrible experience!

On Sunday 1st May we visited the Cannock store to do some shopping & decided to have a drink in the cafe at 3pm. The customer service & attention that we received was absolutely appalling. The female member of staff who was serving members of the public (paying guests) needs some serious training in Customer Services and should also learn to some manners. As we were waiting to be served this person was very loudly venting her anger & job dissatisfaction to anyone who was listening - she made it quite clear that she didn't want to be there. She announced that it was "Happy Hour" when she couldn't be bothered to take the elderly gentleman's money for the cake he wanted to purchase - she also said it wasn't happy hour for her & she was counting the minutes until she could go home !!! We were informed (only by her shouting across the restaurant) that it was paper cups only as she couldn't be bothered to do any more washing up & made it clear that we were not welcome on the premises. We were just about to be served (I wish we would have left at this point) and she then decided that someone's misplaced bag was far more important than waiting customers who were already traumatised by her outrageous behaviour. We were eventually served our tea in "paper cups" & then to our dismay she turned the lights off in the restaurant & shouted that we could continue with the drinks we had purchased however the lights were going off. After 20 minutes of sitting in the dark the Manager appeared & put the lights back on as the restaurant was not closed until 4pm. The Manager apologised but the fact of the matter is that it should never have happened in the first instance. I have been in the hospitality industry for many years and I have never been so disgusted & so shocked at such unacceptable, rude behaviour. We will never return.

The standard gets better and better, we both chose the ham and cheese tartlet with wedges, side salad(good lettuce & cherry tomatoes) and coleslaw. Well presented and the staff are very friendly, visit again - definitely

Nice cafeDidn't have afternoon tea (scone) available when I was there (around 2pm)Had latte & cake instead the heart on top was a lovely touch ♡Plenty of seats available (only one set of comfy lounge seating)Cutlery is disappointingly cheap considering the cafe is inside a homeware store.

I went into pausa coffee shop at Dunelm Wolverhampton this morning with a friend and asked for two cappuccino and two bacon baps which were advertised on large poster for a £1.The assistant said the offer had finished at 11;30.i pointed out it wasn’t on the poster and she said it was on the table notice . Sure enough it was in small print , but you could have a scone. So i went back and asked for two and she said with relish “your too late I’ve done the transaction!”Sadly no service at all, not even a smile

Awful.Waited behind 2 ladies to be served. Took 25 mins And there was only 2 ladies before me!Some people were given their coffee, some had to sit down and it was brought to them. There was no method of workingMy jacket potato came out after 40 mins with cheese & beans. I’d ordered cheese & coleslawI then waited another 10 mins for itAvoid this place if you want your lunch before teatime!!
