Our server, Kyle, was just brilliant! Whoever trained him should be training waiting staff all over the country. If he’s untrained, get *him* training waiting staff in restaurants everywhere!He literally made our night.Oh, the food was pretty good too! It was very busy, I didn’t have high expectations (so cynical) but it was excellent. Apologies were offered for the wait - it was understandable, and not that long for a very busy Friday night. Food arrived hot and all together, so no apology needed. We hope to visit again when next in the area.Dietary restrictions: Asked about dietary requirements at the outset and obviously follow procedures as they came back to double check allergy versus intolerance (also the Manager brought the gluten free dish out).

The best roast turkey dinner I've ever had, came for Sunday lunch after previously trying the wayfarer Sunday lunch. Although the same this was cooked to perfection and the starters and desserts were fantastic. limencello cheesecake is a must! Also our waitress Ella was excellent, very attentive and friendly! The food was served quickly and at a perfect temperature, cannot fault anything!

We went for a family get-together meal. We were taken straight to our table. Ordered drinks, and they arrived swiftly. The place was reasonably busy. Food order was place and service was spot on. Lovely meal. Really lovely venue and atmosphere. I would very much recommend.

Me and my friend came in to dine last night and we were welcomed by the most sour faced, blonde young lady. She took us to our table, plonked the menus down and walked off. It took 15 minutes before we were offered any drinks. We then had to wait another 20 minutes to order our food, the blonde sour faced, young lady brought our food over and again just slammed the food down on the table, we didn’t get ask if we wanted any condiments or more drinks. It felt as though everything was too much effort for her and she didn’t want to be there or maybe had better things on her mind.
