Having just relocated to the Stafford area, we called into this pub for lunch. It appears to be well run by the management, with everywhere clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly. Ordered from their discounted menu and the food arrived promptly and was good quality for the money. It's definitely on our list of places to pop in for lunch in future.
Great pub. Not in the most attractive location, pretty much surrounded by a car park. Decent food at a reasonable price always cooked well. My only gripe would be with some customers. There is plenty of seating here, but not when one person is sat in a family booth for 6, just having a drink. We go quite often and enjoy a great meal using our vouchers and the service is spot on. Staff are friendly and accommodating, even to me who moans about everything ? thanks for the full bellies guys!!
