Another fantastic night with the food, as always being the highlight. Mo the owner remembered us from our last visit which was nice, he also had Naz keeping an eye on our drinks as we do like to keep hydrated. I’m sure Mo must be an accomplished chef as well as an entrepreneur because his knowledge and passion for the food is outstanding, his recommendations where superb, we actually let him pick 3 of our dishes and we where blown away with them all. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough and look forward to returning very soon.

We had a delivery to The Cottage Motorhome site outside of Stafford. This was by far the best Indian (or any other) delivery we have ever had. The Persian biryani was especially fabulous and all of the food was enhanced by complex whole spices. I will travel again to Stafford for another meal from Simply Bilash.

Amazing experience. We went as a family and everyone loved the food especially the king prawn shashlick that we ordered and special mix tawa. Staff were attentive and friendly too. Highly recommend Simply Bilash.

Visited here last night for the first time after several recommendations from Friends. The Staff were lovely & very attentive, couldn't fault them. However, sadly the food wasn't to be the same ? Poppadums & sauce tray fine. My Wife's starter of Prawn Puri was spot on with huge prawns. My Tandoori king prawn sadly wasn't as good, 3 prawns which were overcooked, not worth the price. Mains, my Wife had Chicken Tawa which she said was average. I had the Chicken Tikka Massala. I don't understand why the Tawa comes out sizzling in a wok and is then put onto a cold plate. Just serve it in the wok. From the off my massala had a strange smell to it, like the plate had been wiped with a dirty dishcloth but I perservered thinking id not tried there massala before. I did find the chunks of chicken in it were too large. All of a sudden I realised what the smell was... it was the cream put on the top. Omg it was off! We told the Staff who have to say handled it straight away & confirmed that the cream was indeed off in the kitchen ? I instantly fell sick. I was offered a replacement meal but at this point having eaten some of the cream there was just no way. They did rightly knock the massala off the bill and the Manager was very apoligetic to me. Can't fault them. The garlic naan was dry and crispy with dried garlic pieces on top. Not what im used too. I just think it's such a shame that some Indian restaurants are serving on plates instead of in the traditional woks. All in all we tried it but sadly won't be returning as it just didn't live up to our expectations along with the fact I was ill over night ??
