I was surprised with a visit here for my 40th birthday on a Friday evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful, decor inside was lovely and seating was comfortable and not too close to other people who were also dining. There was a little bit of a wait for drinks but food came in a reasonable time and was very tasty, I highly recommend the sticky sesame seed chicken. The staff brought my birthday cake to me and all sang happy birthday ? would return in future.

Entered TGI at 1825 and asked for a table for 4. Our order was taken quickly, however 2 of the starters took 30 mins to arrive. One of these was wrong so after another 25 minutes the rest of the starters arrived. When my starter arrived it was cold but I ate it in fear I’d have to wait another hour to have it returned warm. It’s now been 1 hour 25mins from I’ve arrived. I’m starting to eye up the scraps on plates around me…………Finally, it’s like Christmas morning. The mains are arriving, well 3 of them. My mate gets teased with his wraps and sides but no meat for the fajitas. As we are mid way through are main, the scolding skillet arrived surrounding us in a fog of oil splattering smoke. Angry! Kind off but more Hangry so we bite our tongues. The food was very tasty. We are now here an hour 45. I will need to shave again tonight as I’ve grown a full on beard waiting. We have in this whole time not received a normal interaction off how is your meal, can I get you a refill of your drinks.Save yourself the hassle and stay home.

I could have made the same meal at home with food out of the freezer, and it probably would have tasted better. Cheap rubbish.

Don't get me wrong - TGI's food is good, they have a menu that isn't overambitious and do the fundamentals of their food well. Leading me to have an enjoyable starter/main combo.Sesame Chicken Strips to start. The sweet, sticky and savoury effect of the sauce on top of breaded chicken that maintains the texture of it's coating, complimented by a crisp side salad is bound to make this a popular choice. For main the Glazed Burger, with Fries and a pot of said glaze along side it. Made for a standard burger experience with nothing special of note for the princely sum of ~£20.This is paired with the all-American decor and enthusiastic service. However the price tag that comes with this makes it somewhere I can't rave about.

Average food, service terrible. Waited 10 mins at the door to book in, long waits between courses, dirty plates sat on our table for 25 mins after finish There are other better places in the area.
