Had a lovely lunch which was served with a smile by Molly. Nice and busy atmosphere. Carvery meat was spot on. Sandra never stopped cleaning tables and serving desserts, shes a credit to the place.

We tried the Ashbank for a change for the breakfast. I can honestly say it will be the first and last time. It opens at 9am and we arrived 9.20 so expected the food to be fresh and hot.It was a million miles from what I expected. The bacon was OK I can't comment on the sausage as I don't like sausage. The tater tots were extremely dry and inedible. The tomatoes and beans were luke warm which meant when I came to eat them they were stone cold. Only 1 egg available.My daughter and husband waited almost 10mins for a fresh egg. The standard of food that was available is what you would expect when they are about to finish.Ashbank is not for me and I won't be returning which is a shame as I would class this place as a local and we could have made this a regular thing.
Visited today with my dad and nana, love coming here every Friday! Sandra is amazing, so friendly and always checks in with us. She really looks after us! The lady on the meat counter was lovely today too. Would definitely recommend!
