Been to the Toby Carvery today our server Jess was absolutely amazing, she recommended amazing tasty starters and gorgeous mouthwatering desserts. The meat was spot on, and all trimmings available. Will be definitely returning soon with my family. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

We booked for a party of 8 for Mother's Day. We ordered drinks and after we'd all settled in, we had to ask what to do about going up for our food. 5 minutes after finishing our carveries we were told the table was booked out and asked to move into the bar area. Some of us still had our drinks ordered on arrival. I felt completely rushed and like I hadn't had time for my food to settle before being made to leave. We had only been at the table for an hour and fifteen minutes. We had no idea that that was all the time we had. We weren't informed on arrival or any time after that until the moment we were asked to move. Considering the time it takes for a party of 8 (one of which was a toddler) to decide what to have and then eat etc, we weren't allocated anywhere near enough time. We didn't even get the opportunity to have desserts!It was all lovely up until the point we were asked to vacate the table, but that experience was a very disappointing ending to my mother's day meal.

Jodie was absolutely fantastic on the Bar tonight!! She was very quick was service and knew exactly when we wanted another one. Had a right blast of a time catching up with an old mate. Would go back again. Fantastic work, keep it up!!! Also, Harry the manager on shift was deserves a mention for being fantastic also with the same service foe us!

Food was a little dry and some vegetables had run out. We did go at 2pm. We did request additional vegetables to be bought out,but we had almost finished by the time they came out.
