“Bear's serves the best quality coffee in Uttoxeter. Unfortunately today the cafe was too busy for the staff to cope. My toast ordered with my coffee didn't appear. A full refund, and excellent coffee, makes me confident in returning another time but I probably won't order food from the kitchen.”

Coffee Shops • “Again to be clear. The serving team does a very good job. Attentive and Professional. Always it's clean. Range is very limited, poorly thought out Junk food menus. Could and should do so much better. Plastic cholesterol junk food. Any motorway cafe across Europe does so much better. Rail stations too. Equipment forever breaks down. Poor preventive maintenance. Poor planning. Poor group management. Uttoxeter Store staff are good, doing a great job. Let down by Cowboy Group Management and lack of support. Good Staff leave. Some healthier foods, and better equipment preventive maintenance getting a grip? Store team 5 stars. Costa 2. Costa needs to really up its game. Cowboy outfit. It should be so much better. Get a Chef review, what is possible? Could sell more and be more. Costa lot for not a lot. Costa innovate for God's sake. Support the stores. Look at the competition. Are you mentally wrapped in Missionary opposition? At least try face up. Could be so much better.”

We found this place by the review scores on google and stopped off on our trip from Liverpool to Nottingham
The food was absolutely banging - really great
The staff were terrific, friendly, happy, helpful and on the ball
Had an exquisite and really incredible breakfast and the best coffee I’ve had in a long time
The showtunes background music made me want to take my teaspoon from my coffee, scoop my own eyeballs out and launch them at the speakers
Would definitely return but would get takeaway or something to avoid ‘that’s entertainment’ showtunes that inflicted audio pain upon my soul
I’m scarred by it - for life - I can’t sleep at night for fear that the music will start again and evil entities will pop up at the end of my bed doing jazz hands and warbling out some west end showstopper
But LOVE the coffee”
