“I dont know about the food. Never eaten there. Go there to drink. The pub is very old which makes it a great atmosphere for relaxing in. There's a lot of character in the pub and also in some of the people that drink there. Why not try a game of bar skittles? Never heard of it? Maybe you should pop down to have a go! Dog friendly. Any trouble and your asked to leave. No tolerance to bad behaviour.”

“I popped in to see the landlord and the new chef the day before the Ladies day at Uttoxeter races to see if they could do us a breakfast for a stag do, and he replied straightaway and said yes and we were booked in. Turned up on Friday morning to a reserved table on a busy day and the breakfast was amazing and the staff were very helpful. It was also nice to see that unlike some pubs in town that on busy days have only ONE person serving, in the Dapple they had at least 6 people serving and even though it was busy, there was never a huge queue. Top service and highly recommend. Thanks for a great start to a long day :)”
