A genuinely tasteful, traditional English pub. The Tavern is a traditional 17th Century pub, tastefully extended to accommodate a cosy but adequately spacious dining area.Food is fantastic. Just the loveliest meal after a long day and Paula (and Jay) made us feel hugely welcome. We had the steak and ale pie and couldn't have been happier when they had all our favorite desserts on the menu ?.

Just had a lovely and very relaxed evening meal in the Tavern. The service (from the nice young lady and Chris) is exemplary and the food is well presented, perfectly cooked and great value for money. An excellent selection of drinks. A friendly pub and an asset to the area. Thank you to all involved.
