Regularly visit this friendly village pub for Sunday roasts and never disappointed, tried new lunch menu and had salt beef bagels, pickles and salad. As good as brick lane!! Highly recommend, friendly staff, good service.
What a great traditional local! We’ve just moved to Sudbury and wanted somewhere nearby for a Sunday roast. The meal we had was absolutely fantastic! The portions are not for the faint hearted! Six, yes six different vegetables, plus roast potatoes, Yorkshire Pud and loads of meat. All of which was high end ingredients, beautifully cooked and all for £14.50!! Very friendly people was made to feel very welcome, I2 of us had steak, it was very good and really well cooked. I like it there, had net been in there for 40yrs and it won't be that long before we trturn again I can guarantee. All in all great night, great food lovely people. PerfectParking: Parking fine, it's on a mail road close to a small roundabout and I'm always concerned about leaving the car park turning left, but maybe that's just a old man like me!!!!
