Just stopped for a late lunch. Walkers is always our place of choice to stop on this route. Today we had the most amazing baguettes. Roast pork and all the trimmings and bacon Stilton and mushrooms. Absolutely gorgeous grub. Girls serving us were friendly. Food was very reasonably priced. The dog got a walk in the woods and we chatted to fellow diner. Shame about the weather, its blowing a hooley, thunder and lightning and now rain But nothing that can be done about that.
Always a good selection of quality, reasonably priced food here from healthy to gloriously unhealthy options. A very useful start point for an offroad trip into the forest. Car park has a height restriction and is locked at closing time so don’t leave it too late to get your vehicle out.

Walkers is a great place for a ride out any day of the week the staff are friendly the food is good and there is several GF foods to eat, my wife can't have gluten.We always find ourselves chatting to somebody there so hopefully see you there soon ?Parking: It's free parking what else do you want me to say ?
