Staying in Beccles and favouring real ale above all the commercial stuff out there we were pleasantly surprised at the number of hand pulls on. With the choice of seven we went for the stout Robin which was well presented and tastey. It did lose its head quicker than expected but this didn’t alter the flavour. All in all a good pub. We will definitely call by again the next time we are in Beccles and hope catch the Greek menu as it too sounds tastey.
Nice friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. Food was good with good size portions. Burgers are a good 8oz and not the usual 6oz you get in most places. One thing I would say and some people may think it’s odd but the meat in the burgers is probably a too good a quality for a burger (too lean). But would definitely go again.

Enjoyed visiting this pub with a friend. Didn't have any food, but had some of their award winning Guinness which was delicious! A disco started a bit later on, and the pub started to fill up more, but just added to the atmosphere if you ask me.
