A landmark and a nice break from the busy Bury Streets. (AIE) Little frayed around the edges and service started out rough, but it recovered for a calm relaxing afternoon tea. Ordered some Royal Blend coffee for delivery. OMG ...! What a flavour..!!Tastes just like the coffee we got hooked on during a recent trip to the USA .Will definitely be a repeat customer going forward.It was well packed and delivered in just a few days at a reasonable price too. Very happy with my purchase.
The menu sounds amazing, but the food and tea are pretty average and overpriced. I had a fondant fancy, which was tiny. Barely a mouthful and overpriced 3 something I believe and I had an earl grey tea. All of it sounded amazing on the menu. Earl grey made from begamot a decent cup of which I have been unable to get anywhere. Came in a China cup and silver pot delivered by a nice lady in a 19th-century uniform.
