We have now re-visited Whitings Bar 5 or 6 times this year as the atmosphere is always amazing. Mark and the team are very attentive, the food is always excellent (loaded nachos and loaded fries we go for) and the cocktails and spirits are first class. Every time we start somewhere else in Bury St Edmunds trying to mix it up, very quickly we end up back at Whitings Bar as it’s the best place to be.
Not only does Whitings Bar serve a great array of beer, wine, cocktails and standard drinks. They produce fantastic nachos (veggie option is unrivalled), the vibe and welcoming atmosphere can’t be matched. Thursday night live music and great for date nights and/or with friends!Dog friendly too :)

We went whilst we were visiting with family friends after travelling from central Scotland and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The atmosphere was brilliant and food served was excellent. Definitely a lovely worthwhile place to visit and experience. We will be back on our next visit.
