Lovely, homely pub with good food, good drink, and a good feeling. First off - they have one of my favourite beers - a Porter from the Earl Soham brewery, so that put me in a good frame of mind immediately. Service was excellent- really nice people. Food arrived quickly - bearing in mind that the pub was getting busy and everything is cooked to order. The food is good, wholesome and tasty - and a lot of it too - just how I like it. In other words - not a fancy place where the less you get the more you pay. I'm looking forward to revisiting.
Rustic country pub - step ups and cosy corners . Ample parking space . My lunch choices included lasagne , fish n chips , ploughman's all the usual options . Recommended.

Had a lovely lunch here, the lasagna was delicious and my husband loved his liver, bacon and sausage casserole. We had apple crumble and custard to follow. All homemade and very reasonable. We had our 2 dogs with us and they were made very welcome.We really enjoyed it and will go back soon!

Well kept beer, lots of choice for food at reasonable prices. Only had light lunch as cycling, will revist for a meal as what we saw being served looked really good.
