Cafes in Ipswich

“Stopped off briefly on the way back to the car after shopping. What a nice little spot. Had an egg bap and oj. The bap was lovely not your usual cheap roll but a more rustic one. Eggs cooked to perfection. The orange juice was probably twice as big as many cafes serve. Signs say that there may be a wait but it wasn't as bad as expected. Will come again.Parking: Car parks opposite and round the corner”

“A small 'cafe' serving exceptional Sunday lunches (veg and vegan available) Best Yorkshire pudding ever. Limited but very good wine list. Friendly efficient service. Dog friendly. Gentle original blues music in background. Good value - will be back soon! Thank ”

“Popped in spontaneously as myself and my partner were hungry. Small, cosy place with a decent menu and not outlandishly priced. Busy but tables were available (our visit was during the week). Older gentleman on site was very attentive, but not pushy; we took some time to decide on what we wanted to order. Opted for a toasty each and they charged no more than the chained coffee shops ask for, so I don’t feel ripped off. Would return if that sort of food is what I’m after, but I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way.”

“Five stars all day long! One of the best Full English Breakfasts I've ever had, with special mention to the black pudding and sausage, which were excellent and quite simply the best I've ever tried. It is clear that this is cooked with dedication, using very high quality ingredients. Even the beans taste carefully home cooked (as opposed to the usual sugary stuff from a can), and the mushroom and hash, also off the charts. The same excellence repeats on the drinks! Delicious black coffee and hot chocolate.I had a second coffee somewhere else later today and kept remembering how good this one was in comparison.Coming back for sure!”

“Best Cappuccino I've ever had, I actually went to "Good Inside" next door and they recommended the Coffee. Both delightfully friendly owners. I will definitely return to both cafés.”

“Gluten free, vegan ,vegetarian menus and options - I agree with another review that there are many options, more than initially listed on outside menu. They asked me before seating me if I had any allergens then offered the applicable menu. This place has a nice, relaxing atmosphere with relaxing music playing. There are restrooms for customers. There are many places to sit and different types of seating areas. There is a bar and an extensive drink menu at the tables - non-alcoholic and alcohol. I ordered Summer Green Risotto with additional chicken (gf, extra cost). Felt healthy, fresh, and was absolutely delicious; good portion size. I went during non-busy part of day. The entrance outside of Mall by the church and to left corner. Decor wonderful, old wood floors.”
